When it comes to kids' bikes, fit and safety are paramount to the enjoyment of the activity. A bike that’s too big or too small will make it difficult for your child to maintain control — or to even get started. And low-quality bikes — like many found in big-box stores — are simply not designed to the performance and durability standards of those sold by local bike shops. Would you drive a car that didn’t steer or stop properly? Why put your kids on a bike that doesn’t perform safely and reliably?

When you buy a kids' bike from Brielle Cyclery Kids, you’ll get a bike that was assembled and safety checked by professional mechanics, and is backed by Trek’s industry-leading support. And our fit experts will make sure your child rolls out the door on a bike that is the perfect size.

And when your child has outgrown a bike purchased from us, you can trade it in for the next size with our Kids' Bike Trade-Up Program. Simply bring it back to our store within 3 years and we’ll give you a credit of up to 50%* of the purchase price to use toward your child’s next bike.

We Take Trade-Ins

We can help you save if you’re looking for your first Trek bike, too! To help get you started, bring in ANY kids' bike (size 12” to 24”) in working condition** and get 10% OFF any new Trek kids bike. Your old bike will be reconditioned and donated to a program to help underprivileged children enjoy the world on two wheels.

12-INCH: 2-4 Years

* New bike purchase must be towards a larger size; you cannot trade "down" or replace the same size. Original receipt is required. All Trade Up bikes will be subject to an inspection which will determine any necessary repairs and the 50% Trade Up credit will be adjusted accordingly, bikes must also be cosmetically appealing and rust free. Only bikes purchased from the Brielle Cyclery, Brielle Cyclery – Asbury Park or the Trek Bicycle Store of Middletown are eligible to participate in the Trade Up Program. Juvenile bikes, sizes 12" to 24" are eligible. Sorry, Trek Trikesters, Trek Kicksters, and all BMX bikes are not included in the Trade Up program. All original accessories must be included (or replaced) prior to Trade Up. 

** Working Condition is described as: A safe and functioning bicycle where as tires have no less then 50% of tread remaining and tubes must hold air; overall bike is cosmetically appealing and rust free; no stripped nuts, bolts, or Allen keys; brakes and pads stop bike adequately; drivetrain components are in working order; wheels are true and spokes are in good condition. All non-Trek branded bikes wishing to be used in the Trade Up program are subject to an inspection verifying that the bicycle meets these requirements. We reserve the right to refuse any bike we feel has been modified or damaged, mechanically or cosmetically, in such a way that it is no longer fit to ride.
